Melbourne weather another gland
Maybe not a gland but some kind of hormonal secretion coming down from the hills, raising up into the clouds and raining on us like a chemical downpour intertwined in your brain's alchemy, but surely not something that you can dismiss offhand and confuse as a climate occurrence. Melbourne Weather messes up with your psyshe in so many ways that I am still unsure and wouldn't venture a veredict yet, a socio-geographical phenomena or simply "the thing of mandinga" some countries have the "humidity factor" others, I guess might have the dessert dust(?) Melbourne has the "shit you'll never guess the next hour".
This first holiday week started so awful, with showers and cold winds and brief periods of sunshine that makes you believe that all is fine, soon after the clouds and showers come back and keeps you looking through the windows, day in and day out. so the first week cobeing smasme and went.
We managed to extract a ride to Port Melbourne a nice afternoon in Camberwell and finally our day of being smashed by 2~3 metres waves at Lorne, fantastic and painful .
My best bet to get the clouds out of my system would be to run the next week as hard as possible, tire my family having the best time, maybe see a movie and resting at home watching The Office and then out again...and yes I have to re-arrange my working place or I'll die of depression in it before the winter holidays.
Is either a rocket ready to take off or another Ric's wipe out

I can't imagine where you were at that time. Probably rolling under and over, kicking and waving your arms under that heavy splash!
