Big Intergalactic News
First one: Dollhouse aired in US and EZTV made it easy to reach to the rest of us.
So much expectation and build up over this new series by Joss Whedon that I feel sorry already for him.
Second: Ep 15 of Battlestar Galactica ia out.
I wonder if the pressure from the big Studios and what happend with Firefly has crashed Whedon's creative spark into a more mass market style to survive across the 1st season of this new series.
Why I loved everything he did is the subject for another post, but it will be easy to spot even after one episode if he took the high road again to deliver another great tongue in cheek, worth-buy-the-DVD series and watch for ever and every year as the "Joss Whedon Marathon Week"
Valentines Day today and we took the road again by bicycle, from the dry-leafy eastern suburbs to Port Melbourne. We stop at a French Paticerie for capuchinos and le sweet baguete. Easy to observe the dissapointing look in Anton's face when he discovered that French it is not alway synonimous of Sweet Splendor. That baguete was just plain bread, but it looked very Frenchy.
It was hotter than anticipated, I think that the early smoke haze cleared in the afternoon letting some heat through that became a bit uncomfortable, specially uphill.
We went through the Ivanhoe bushfire and didnt look so bad, but smelled pretty awful, I guess the people living in the area must have had a very scary afternoon, running around carrying chandeliers and oil paintings up and down the stairs, yelling "Theodore! can we hide in the safe until the fire passes"
We are in need of some rain so baddly. it is all dried up and yellow. the soil is cracked and the house is tilted.
Time for my beef and veggie supreme with extra extreme cheeses.
When I wake up I will feel terrible, heavy and bloated, but it is worth it as it is worth it the other six days of puritane eating. God Save the Eggplants.

Loved the ride, the baguette, the flowers, the book, the schnitzel and Doll House! i knew Joss wouldn't let us down...but I was worried and way too expectant. I really want another Firefly. Loved the first episode. I think that if he can do that in the first we can expect a really good season. I hope we get more than that though.
