The holidays are back
Like the tides, school holidays are a cyclic event in which my workload takes a break and I get to enjoy some time with my personal Angels, as opposed to working and dealing with transpersonal Deamons (get it?)
As usual a succesful break is one with lots of open spaces, nice views, travel, music, coffee and basically moving away from my desk.
I love the work, I am not kidding, I am lucky and glad that I get to do what I do, but I know when I need to decompress and every 2.2 months seems like the right time span to do it, like a car service you do it even when is not broken.
I have to admit forcing my self away from the computer takes some effort, I am so hooked to the inter-web and its tubes that going a whole day without the web and web related work is a werid event and feels...well, weird.
I guess that pushing myself away from the desk is imperative and I did. So far I manage a trip to the bay on Sunday

That was nice, but then we came back to the Sunday spot....Camberwell, some shoping at Coles and a little browsing at Borders.
Then, Monday Came.
It was freezing and the will-power game began. Too cold, but sunny so I added an extra layer and checked-out before 2pm.
Port Melbourne Pier was desolated, I took a couple of pictures and left, I didnt even stop at the little fruit and flower shop for a Fuji and a short walk while chewing all the way to PM Library.
Hot Coffee!!!
