Broke and back mountain bike
Exactly one week ago after celebrating my renewed ability to move again in my previous post, I found myself on my bike in the city with a freshly cracked frame, pretty much a death sentence for my bike.
Since there is no road assistance for bikes that I know of, I had to pedal 30 kms with no seat to take the weight or rest after a step hill. I came back sored and sad, My so much loved, life changing bike was dead.
The next morning I picked myself up and took the bike to Marcus who owns Walkers Wheels in Montmorency. After a disapproving but hopeful lookhe promise to do something about it and the 3 days later the bike was fine again. After the bandages were pulled off I saw it and it felt ok...still my bike and yet a different frame makes it something else.
So here I go again, from Templestowe to Port Melbourne and back!
