First heat wave in 2010

I was supposed to sleep until the heat was over, but even in bed with the fan at maximun could not stay much longer, the cats had been laying around the house like stuffed animals forgoten on the floor, almost no sign of life except for the ocassional streching yawn and turn.
2am and the bed feels like it has been under the sun, which burnt and passed many hours ago
