101km Ride
We left 13:11, this Saturday afternoon, again I forgot to have anything to eat, but I was red bulled and took off on a fizzy belly and a timid cloudy day.
I must admit that I had my doubts, the whole trip meant to be a huge loop from home to Port Melbourne then to reach Black Rock and back to the city and home. right know my legs are a bit wobbly and I feel very sore, but what bothers me the most are my arms back, specially my neck, 6 hours holding the tension was abit too much.
Anyway...we did it, Anton is happy, he wanted to do this for a long time and now we set another milestone. The next could be 150, but we (I) have to get better, maybe another day a week for training. 101 really did me in today.
Ale used the quite to do a lot of study and I am really proud and happy for her, she deserves the recognition that her talent ought to give her and the "paper" is the only thing that has the power to do it, no favors, people or anything, just the hard work and study needed to get there. She also did some exquisite gnochi with sauce.
Movies tonight were dissapointing, Role Models, very silly all over the place and Twilight was a vain piece of crappy story telling with a decent aesthetic. It felt like a super production for a pilot.
and now...Good night, tomorrow we are going to watch the much anticipated Watchmen. I might let myself enjoy some popcorn, I deserve it.
Jack out, down and tired.
